Pay It Forward

130 Loaves of Bread to Give and Share….

Congratulations Third, Fourth and Fifth Graders

Tuesday, January 22, 2008

All third, fourth and fifth graders have learned how to bake bread, and they each baked two loaves of bread.

Families, thank you very much for helping your children share their gifts of time, energy and generosity of spirit.  We have delivered all 130 loaves of bread to the Salvation Army, Chittenden County Food Shelf and the Burlington Emergency Food Shelter.  The students were very excited about this project and were pleased that they are able to help those less fortunate than they are in our own communities.

Hold on to that wonderful time baking and enjoy the good feelings you and your children have about giving back to others.

If you have any questions, please call Cally Flickinger at 652-7445 or email at cflickinger@sbschools.net.  Again, many, many thanks.
