On February 11, 2005, Chamberlin School participated in a program called Reading to End Racism.  This is a reading program designed to arouse awareness about issues of race.  Trained volunteers read quality children's literature involving issues of race and prejudice to each of the fifteen classes at Chamberlin School at different times throughout the day.  The goal was for Chamberlin's students to appreciate the differences they share with each other in a diverse society.  For a list of books that were read during this program see Reading to End Racism book list.
