R is for reservation

    The Americans forced the Native Americans to go to reservations.  A reservation is an area  of land where the Native Americans had to move.  If the reservation was somewhere different from the land they first lived on, they had to change many customs when they moved.  A lot of the Native Americans died from the diseases they caught at the reservation.
