T is for tipi

The tipi was used for a house.  The support poles were 18-20 feet long.  The tipi was used so people could move it easily to follow the buffalo.  The outside was made out of buffalo hide. The hide was really very thick .  The tipi was decorated with many different  designs. They got the colors from plants and flowers.
