DISTANCE FROM THE SUN AND REVOLUTION

Science Standard 3.1

    Recognize that the Earth and other planets in the solar system revolve around the sun.

An experiment called "Quicker" from Janice VanCleave's Astronomy for Every Kid published by John Wiley, copyright @1991 shows how the distance between objects changes the revolution time around the center object.
