Wolf Information

Wolves live in packs of up to 20 members. A pack of wolves follow their leader in search of food. Wolves usually have gray or brown fur but arctic wolves can grow white fur to blend in with the snow. They eat mostly caribou and young musk oxen which they can see and smell from very far away. Special fact: When food is available, wolves can eat up to 20 pounds of food at one time. When it is hard for them to find food, they can go for more than two weeks without eating at all.
